Great place for an affordable overnight stay in a castle, with a nice restaurant, and great views!
It is a castle! The views from our room were superb. The room was comfortable, and we loved eating at the castle restaurant, for both dinner and a great breakfast. (Breakfast was a continental buffet in the restaurant, not in the room as stated in the description. There were also hot options available if you pre-ordered them) It was lovely and peaceful to sit in the garden after the restaurant/ bar was closed to the public.
A fun place to stay
It’s location was stunning overlooking the battlefield great outside dining superb Sunday lunch our room had everything we needed the bed was comfortable.The staff were all very friendly and helpful nothing seemed to much bother and the local beer was awesome.
Perfect wedding night stay. Beautiful location, very good value, spotless, delicious breakfast
We stayed here on our wedding night (we got married at Primrose Hill Farm) and the staff were so accommodating with arranging earlier collection of our keys in the morning. The rooms are beautifully done, spotlessly clean, incredible views, very considered drinks making facilities and wonderful food. We are local and so familiarly with the pub/restaurant, and were even pleasantly surprised with how lovely the rooms are!
