Certainly never had the Yorkshire welcome everyone always talks about. Our first encounter was in one of the narrow corriders with a member of staff shouting get out my way this is heavy.. no problem, but my mum is blind my dad has dementia and my husband blind using a walking aid so none of them where fast on their feet, certainly not fast enough to get out of her way quick enough. Beautiful building and setting. The restaurant had a good menu and the staff service was excellent.
