INNSiDE by Meliá Newcastle
“Well located by the river and the riverside attractions. Stylish, modern, spacious and clean rooms; friendly and helpful staff; attractive common areas; good breakfast, and lovely restaurant for dinner.”
Fancy a trip to Newcastle for the shopping? The INNSiDe Hotel by Melia is a firm favourite of the young professional working couple. With spacious king beds and a clean blue and white theme, this hotel reminds you of the cleanliness of your average swimming pool.
Seen from the outside, this four star hotel on River View looks like a college building. It has a smart appearance, aided by the large windows and inviting reception area which seems suited to indoor/outdoor lifestyles. There is an outdoor space for BBQs and they allow pets, both factors which see them rise through the Lilly Likes ranks.
The hotel is only 700 yards from Sage Gateshead and comes with its own restaurant, gym, and bar. You are advised not to visit all three back to back. They give you a lovely buffet breakfast which you can eat on the terrace, if you like. Couples love this place so much they rate it 9.5 out of ten stars. It also gets 2/3 stars for travel sustainability, which is what we like to hear.
Truly, you will enjoy your experience staying at the INNSiDe Hotel in Newcastle. The only thing bad about it is the way the name uses a mix of upper case and lower case letters. It’s not cool, it’s messy. End of discussion.
