Basils Barn is nestled within the grounds of a charming 17th-century manor, surrounded by a scenic 60-acre estate. The cosy bedroom is connected directly to Basil’s stable via an internal doorway, offering a unique and intimate experience with this gentle animal. Guests are welcome to explore the paddocks, home to a delightful mix of rescued pets including Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens, and Norwegian Forest cats. During your stay, you’ll have access to an outdoor log fire with a BBQ grill, a tiki-style seating area, and a footbridge leading to the grazing areas where you can meet our animals up close. Basil typically resides in the stable during your visit and returns to the field each morning, so be sure to give him a warm goodbye cuddle before he heads off. Please note that due to the presence of a nearby horse, some natural farmyard sounds and smells may be part of the experience.
