The Midland Manchester
“Beautiful hotel and lovely spacious rooms fitted with beautiful beds, linen and cosy lighting. The shower and body products were amazing. Very easy online check in and check out, a nice breakfast spread.”
The Midland is about as epic as a city centre stay in Manchester gets. This is an Edwardian style sandstone building which sites on a corner, making a massively impressive first impression. Once you get inside the amazement continues. The Grecian style pillars which support the reception area and run throughout the downstairs communal areas inspire greater things beyond.
This place looks like you just walking into Julius Ceasar’s bachelor pad. There is even a tree growing in the reception area because why not? They have the space. The décor here is just unmatched. They have a rolls Royce parked somewhere indoors too. See if you can find it.
The rooms are lovely. They combine thickly padded headboards with silver, blue, and cream soft furnishings. They are spacious and come with a flat screen TV and a sitting area. The hotel has a luxury spa in it useable for an extra charge and has a 4 AA rosette restaurant run by Adam Reid. They have a bar and dining room which is capable of weddings and banquets. They even have a tea room so that you can have a traditional afternoon high tea just like in Bridgerton.
