The boat offers stunning lake and river views, and its convenient location near Thorpe Park, Hampton Court Palace, and Windsor Castle is perfect for exploring. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen, cosy bedrooms, and a spotless bathroom. Free WiFi and on-site parking were great bonuses. Highly recommend for a unique and peaceful retreat in Chertsey!”

“Mini escape was such a lovely boat and Corrine and Gareth excellent hosts. The boat was well equipped and perfect for a couples getaway - it was easy to drive and comfortable for 2 people. We had a bit of an accident with the boat (smashed window!) but Gareth and Corrine couldn’t have been kinder and more understanding. We enjoyed our trip immensely and would highly recommend a stay on one of their boats.”

“Gorgeous barge. Easy friendly warm welcome. Spacious. Full kitchen. London-themed Monopoly and other games. Rooftop seating. Perfect canal water view. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, and subway as well as to the stop for canal boat trips to Camden. The sounds of the city were largely muffled and replaced by waterfowl swimming by and relatively quiet passers-by. Well worth paying a little more for so much more exclusivity.”

“The boat was extremely clean, Peter, the boat owner was really quick and helpful worth everything. The access, the car park and the location were just the best ever. Everything was working as it should, it was like a very convenient adventure, far from busy places, with access to Bar with life music few yards away, breakfast in the morning and so on. Amazing”

“The houseboat has been renovated incredibly well and has everything you need for an extremely comfortable stay. The facilities inside the boat were perfect so that you could really settle in as if it was home. Everything was super clean, the bed was perfect and the person who greeted us was super friendly and helpful. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone!”

We had a wonderful few days on Jessie. It was in the perfect location away from crowds and surrounded by water, birds and trees but close to 2 tube stations, shops and restaurants.

Manchester isn’t a place you would usually associate with canal boat living. However, this boutique style city centre houseboat proves everything we thought we knew to be wrong. Normally fully booked in advance,
