“Wonderful experience in a beautiful, tranquil location. The private yurt was spacious with a comfortable bed, areas to relax, and a table for games or meals. Despite the rain, the yurt's layout prevented a feeling of confinement. Outside, there's ample space and direct pond access, though we had to dodge some dog droppings. The large private hot tub was a highlight. The well-equipped kitchen, clean shower, and toilet were great. Nearby village amenities included a store, takeaway, and pub. The old smithy offers fun lessons and has a shop with essentials. Highly recommend!”

"This property is in an excellent location to get to many places around the area and it is very quiet around the place. Robin, the host had kindly left milk, coffee, tea and sugar and there was a vase of beautiful fresh flowers. He was around if needed but left us alone to get on with our holiday, His dog, Fred is super friendly and came to see us regularly. There is an outside decking area to sit and enjoy food and drink when you get back from your travels. There is everything you need at the property."

“The location is amazing! wildlife, ducks, swans, cormorants and more just on your door step. We had a front seat view without even leaving the bed, very relaxing and romantic atmosphere. It was lovely having breakfast next to the river and watching the beautiful sunsets and clear starry skies from the balcony. Lovely quiet area and nice walks around.”

The kitchen had everything you could want and an extra fridge on the top floor was a plus. Two lounges were large and comfortable. The only issue our group had was that a couple of the beds were not very stable or comfortable."

There are two bathrooms and the whole place is pretty spacious. The hot tub is a great way to unwind in a beautiful location. The site is well laid out, and there is a bar from Wednesday to Sunday. There is plenty to see and do around the area. The staff were lovely, too,”

“The location was ideal - close to amenities but in a quiet spot next to a lovely pub / driving range. Also a short walk from a lovely village and the Woolpack ( from Emmerdale). The cottage was immaculate with everything we needed and more. Hot tub was amazing and the additional field was a lovely play area for the family children who visited whilst we were there. BBQ great. Tesco delivery great as recommended but also a Tesco express a 2 min drive for any additional items.”
