We met the host on arrival who was happy to tell us some of the history of the house and places to go near by. The communication was great right the way through. We would absolutely stay here again."

Very helpful hosts but totally private holiday home. We loved the log burner and the hot tub. The beds were very comfortable and it was warm all the time!"

"The containers were amazing, everything you needed and in a compact space. We only stayed for 1 night but wish we stayed longer. The grounds were beautiful, really nice and peaceful and the sides on the doors made it private, not overlooking anyone but could speak to people if you wanted. It was clean, tidy and also do recycling which they leave you bags and a notice."

The lodge is cleaned to a very high standard, hot tub is very appreciated once you have spent a day walking in the caves. Staff are very friendly nothing is to much trouble. Dunganess is a small town with quirky things to discover, or just to cook and relax with the sound of the ocean. It was lovely waking up every morning with the sun rising behind the lighthouse.”
